Depart from Nairobi and drive north, crossing the equator with dramatic views of Mount Kenya, arriving in the rugged Samburu National Reserve for lunch. Set out on an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Ng'iro River to spot leopards, elephants, and the famous 'Samburu Special Five'.
Enjoy an early game drive in Samburu, then drive south into the misty Aberdare National Park. Check in to a unique tree lodge built above waterholes, where you can watch elephants and buffalo visit the floodlit salt lick and waterhole from the comfort of the lodge deck.
