Depart early morning from Nairobi, driving south through the scenic Athi Plains into Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then set out on your first afternoon game drive. Look out for the massive tuskers Amboseli is famous for, set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Embark on an early morning game drive, when the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is clearest. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, then spend the rest of the day tracking lions, cheetahs, and zebras. Visit the Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park's swamps, and finish with a spectacular bush sundowner.
Enjoy a final sunrise game drive, catching predators active after the night hunt. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
