About Nairobi NP
Nairobi National Park is one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife paradoxes — a wild, untamed game reserve just 7km from the city centre, where lions prowl against a backdrop of glass skyscrapers. Despite its small size, the park supports a remarkable diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and over 400 bird species. It is also a critical rhino sanctuary. A half-day or full-day game drive here is an ideal warm-up for a longer Kenyan safari, or a perfect activity for travellers with limited time in Nairobi. It is the only national park in the world that sits inside a capital city.
